Tearfund is seeking a consultant(s) to undertake a review of its disaster management work over a number of years. The consultancy will involve a combination of desk-based research, consisting of a review of project and programme evaluations and reports, and online interviews with Tearfund staff, partner staff, and other external stakeholders. The review will cover the full spectrum of Tearfund’s work in this area, including anticipation, preparedness, humanitarian response and recovery, as well as risk management and resilience strengthening. It will include a geographical spread of the countries in which Tearfund operates, across Africa, Asia and South America. The timeframe for the review to be conducted is January – March 2025, and therefore this opportunity would suit a consultant/s with the ability to begin work immediately.

Guided by World Concern’s global strategic plan, the Grants Compliance Officer will assist in managing grant and contract compliance from proposal to closeout. Provide the required support to the program, operations team and field staff in report preparations to ensure compliance with donor requirements and regulations. Support World Concern (WC) in fostering adherence to global humanitarian quality and accountability standards, specifically Core Humanitarian Standards (CHS). Conduct internal audit and monitoring activities to ensure compliance standards are met. Identify opportunities and risks and make recommendations to further the organization’s commitment to operating with integrity.
