Integral is a global alliance of 21 Christian relief and development agencies that come together to respond in times of disaster. Our Members are headquartered in 14 countries, work in over 70 countries and work together with a network of more than 470 local Partners.
When disaster strikes Integral Members follow an agreed Joint Disaster Response process, strategically combining their programming, financial and communications resources. This ensures a rapid and high-quality response both directly and through local Partners. We also focus on neglected crises that lack donor and media attention.
By combining Member strengths, we extend our reach and deepen our impact in disasters. In uniting our collective capacity, funding and expertise, we believe we serve people better by working together.
Integral promotes locally led action in disaster responses, recognising local organisations as equal partners. Integral has pledged to maintain the high quality of our work by endorsing and committing to the Core Humanitarian Standard.
Our Christian values unite us in prayer, Christian reflection and collaborative action. Strong relationships and prayer are foundational in all we do. Members encourage, learn from and inspire one another.
Integral was founded in 2004 when leaders of Christian INGOs imagined how, through greater collaboration, they could have wider reach and impact for people experiencing disasters.
In a world that is often cynical, fragmented and hostile, we are Christians who believe that disaster and suffering are not the end of the story.
