Philanthropy Specialist

The Philanthropy Specialist manages a major gifts portfolio. It is a key member of Medical Teams Internationals frontline fundraising team with a special focus on six figure multi-year campaign gifts, and annual gifts of $10,000 or more, to support Medical Teams Internationals strategic plans. The Philanthropy Specialist manages the qualification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of approximately 150 households. They develop personalized strategies to maximize philanthropy to Medical Teams from their portfolio to help to carry out the organizations mission, vision, and values.

Program Manager

The Program Manager (PM) plays a key role in the management, support, development, growth, implementation, and monitoring of assigned country programs. Reporting to the Sr. Director, Global Programs Director, the PM oversees a defined group of activities with particular emphasis on Protracted Crises and Displacement programs. The PM will manage one or two Country Directors/Managers as well as manage and mentor a small team of one or two Program Officers. The PM is well organized, a strong communicator, a skilled manager, a resources mobiliser, a strategic planner, and an influencer.

Program Officer – Ukraine Response

The Program Officer will assist the team in Moldova to provide aid to refugees and IDPs affected by the crisis in Ukraine. This support will be particularly in the areas of administration, partnerships, data management, proposals and reports, policy compliance, communication and networking, and flexible support as needed to various departments.

Mobile Clinic Manager, US Programs

The Clinic Manager contributes to the Calling of Medical Teams International through supervision and management of the day-to-day operations of a mobile healthcare clinic. This position includes clinic and administrative functions as well as short-term and long-term planning functions of running a successful mobile clinic office. The Clinic Manager works with clinic partners and volunteer dental and medical providers on the mobile clinic.

Information Systems Managers are responsible for managing small to large teams for the planning, and implementation of Information Systems services which support the achievement of organization goals. The Information Systems Manager is responsible for one or more Information Systems domains within one global functional area. They are responsible for managing and maintaining global Information Systems processes and standards relevant to their area. The incumbent manages services provided to a global audience across multiple geographies. This role focusses on line-of-business applications, application architecture, data interfaces, business process automation, business intelligence and access control.

Global Safety and Security Advisor

To be considered for this role: Due to operational requirements and business needs, the preferred candidate will need to work from a location within the time zones of UTC-9 and UTC+4.
Oversees all aspects of safety and security across Field Operations countries. Leads the design and implementation of Field Operations safety and security policy and procedure. Leads on security setup for new responses and provides support to existing country programs. Designs and facilitates safety and security training. Leads HQ-level incident management and is responsible for maintaining crisis management and is the primary security officer in a CMT. Gathers and analyses security information to inform Medical Teams planning and preparedness. Deploys regularly to field operations locations.

Country Director

Oversee all programme and support activities in-country. Representing Medair in all issues relating to the country programme, the Country Director plays a key role in donor relations and grant management, external representation, legal compliance, they manage the country strategy, project implementation and evaluation in conjunction with senior field managers.

Finance Manager

The Finance Manager oversees the financial activities of both the Poland and Ukraine programmes and carries out the various accounting functions required in order to provide accurate and timely information to donors, GSO, field management and the field teams on the financial status of the programme. This involves organising and further developing the financial processes required for the projects to function effectively as well as managing the finance team, providing coaching and training.

Human Resources Manager

Responsible for managing all in-country aspects of Human Resources for the programme. Focus on nationally recruited staff, on a day-to-day basis, this will involve recruitment, staff policy development, co-ordination of training, and general staff well-being. In addition, the Human Resources Manager supports Medair’s Human Resources Partner at the Global Support Office (GSO) on issues related to Internationally Recruited Staff. All HR activities are conducted in line with Medair policies and in accordance with local employment legislation and practice. Work with field management and GSO on in-country issues for internationally recruited staff.

Logistics Manager

Oversee the provision of the logistical support for the programme. The Logistics Manager is responsible for ensuring an effective supply chain is in place at all times, and that standard logistics and related administrative systems are established and implemented within Medair country programmes. The role provides strategic direction, management and evaluation of all aspects of logistics, ensuring relevant information; reporting and accountability requirements are met. The Logistics Manager also plays an important role in external representation, legal compliance, team leadership and capacity building of logistics staff.

Controller

This position contributes to the calling of the organization by overseeing and managing the organizations domestic finance activities. The Controller manages key financial and treasury functions and ensures that all resources provided to Medical Teams International are expended based on the highest standards of financial management and accountability, used to advance the mission of the organization, and ensure its financial health. This position provides staff with the financial information needed to carry out their responsibilities.
