Digital Asset Management Specialist

The Digital Asset Management Specialist is responsible for managing the lifecycle of all creative digital assets (images/photography, artwork, video, etc.) across the Medical Teams organization with emphasis on asset ingestion, tagging, organizing, distribution of and archiving assets. The DAM Specialist will oversee the implementation and management of the DAM tool, which will house all creative assets across the organization. This individual will oversee the influx of new digital assets into the DAM system, ensuring best practices and processes set in place are upheld to ensure the most efficient use of the system. This person will be responsible for distribution and communication of available content to the broader organization. This role will report to the Global Content and Video Producer.

COVID-19 Mobile Clinic Coordinator

As member of the mobile COVID-19 clinic team, the Mobile Clinic Coordinator works with a team of healthcare professionals at mobile clinics across hot spot counties within Washington or Oregon states to reach high-risk and underserved populations with prompt COVID-19 vaccines, testing and education. This position provides tailored education to clients on safety and hygiene practices to reduce COVID transmission, and address needs for follow-up and referral to community services. They will adhere to current guidelines and best practices for COVID-19, PPE usage, and hygiene protocols. On occasion, this position may provide back-up for COVID-19 testing and vaccines.

Health Advisor

The Health Advisor position contributes to the calling of Medical Teams International through the provision of leadership and technical support to Medical Teams direct health services and health systems strengthening portfolios. The Health Advisor ensures technical quality in the design, development, and implementation of health programs in protracted humanitarian response projects and large-scale natural disasters and complex emergencies. This position strengthens organizational and staff capacity to design and implement high quality health interventions. In addition, the Health Advisor provides medical expertise and guidance to interventions and to medical personnel to ensure the highest standards of care within medical programs, regular and adequate drug and medical product supplies, and to monitor and evaluate medical activities. The Health Advisor will coordinate regularly with other health and community health advisors to ensure efficient and effective integration of both community and health facility level activities across the care continuum within each community. The Health Advisor will focus a large portion of time on technical oversight and support for strategic humanitarian health programs in a portfolio of three to four countries. In addition, the Advisor will contribute to global level guidance, quality monitoring, and strategies in regard to core thematic areas serving as a thematic expert within the organization. Because of the breadth and scope of this position, the Health Advisors supervisor will be responsible for prioritizing activities to effectively meet the organization technical health needs.

Emergency Medical Coordinator

The Emergency Medical Coordinator supports the Humanitarian Response Team (HRT) in three functional areas; preparing for potential emergencies, assessing potential health needs in emergency responses and responding to emergencies and providing technical health coordination and expertise to the response. This includes overseeing technical quality, coordination with other health actors, community engagement and accountability for Medical Teams International’s humanitarian responses.
When in a deployed role, the position manages health personnel in the program’s field sites. Medical Teams utilize international clinical volunteers in some responses; this role would be responsible for ensuring the appropriate engagement of these volunteers and oversight of national health staff. The Emergency Medical Coordinator may represent Medical Teams with relevant governments, donors, health response actors, the international community and local partners. This position contributes to the response strategy, develops concept notes, assists with development of full proposals, and liaises with in-country donor representatives.

Care & Connect Program Manager

Medical Surplus Recovery (MSRO) Program Manager

This position contributes to the mission of the organization by managing the (MSRO) Material Surplus Recovery Operations partnership between Medical Teams International and Providence Health. The postholder will be responsible for day-to-day oversight and management of medical surplus donation program, driving initiatives throughout hospital network spanning seven states with the highest volume concentrated in Washington and Oregon, and work closely with stakeholders internally within Medical Teams, the partnership steering committee and Providence staff as required. This role requires outstanding organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, along with excellent communication with a clear understanding of customer needs.
