We are pleased to announce that Integral has launched its Annual Neglected Crises Awareness-raising Campaign for the fourth year.

Integral continues to be committed to responding to neglected crises, those that are low profile, protracted or complex. This year the Neglected Crises Working Group has produced a toolkit of resources for Christian audiences. All Integral’s 22 Members can use these resources to inform and raise the profile of their work in neglected crises contexts.
This toolkit includes prayer points, devotionals, a ‘Hope in Crises’ Bible reading plan, a biblical reflection on the ‘God Who Sees’, slides, a video, social media assets, practical ideas for churches, as well as stories and photos showing Integral Members making a difference in neglected crises. As well as this toolkit, on the 14th July, 12 continuous hours of prayer will take place, covering 12 of the neglected crises or countries in which Integral Members are working.
Hannah Moeda, the Neglected Crises Working Group Chair says, “My hope is this joint campaign will not just raise awareness of what is happening in these countries but also deepen our understanding of God’s heart for all people in need, and inspire hope that together we can make more of a difference.”
Fiona Boshoff, CEO of Integral, says “I am delighted that we can use this year’s campaign to talk to Christians about neglected crises and the difference we can make through prayer and action. It is my firm belief that God is at work behind the headlines and as it says in Practical Ways Your Church Can Help resource, ‘God is already at work everywhere. Why not join Him? Act faithfully even when the world is not watching.’ That is certainly my hope and prayer for this year’s campaign.”
Integral is a global alliance of 22 Christian relief and development agencies that come together to respond in times of disaster. We believe we can serve people better by uniting our collective reach, funding and expertise.
