Tearfund is an international Christian relief and development agency. It works directly in response to disasters and works in collaboration with effective partners in more than 50 countries around the world. With a vision to see 50 million people released from material and spiritual poverty through a global network of 100,000 local churches, Tearfund engages with local communities to enable them to flourish. These churches lie at the heart of communities in areas in which we work; allowing us to tackle challenges effectively from the grassroots level. With over 45 years of experience Tearfund is recognised as an expert in: Developing communities – working with local organisations, churches and communities to reduce poverty and build resilience, sustainably and holistically.
